Questions
Answers to what clients ask before booking
These are the questions that arrive most often, with the answers we give in writing.
How does an engagement usually begin?
With a short assessment, fixed in price and scope. We examine your platform, data flows and reporting, then give you a written account of what we found and what we would change. You decide what happens next.
What do you charge, and how are fees structured?
Assessments are a fixed fee agreed in advance. Implementation work is charged at a daily rate, with an estimate of days before we start. You receive an itemised invoice monthly. We do not take a percentage of platform spend.
Do you work with more than one cloud provider?
Yes. We work across the major providers, and we hold no reseller agreements with any of them. Recommendations follow your requirements, existing skills and budget rather than a commercial relationship on our side.
How long does a typical project take?
An assessment usually takes two to three weeks. Implementation depends on scope, but most engagements run between two and six months. We give you a schedule with milestones before any work begins.
Who will actually do the work?
The consultants who scope the engagement deliver it. We are a small team and do not subcontract the core work. You will deal with the same people from the first call to handover.
What happens to our data during an engagement?
We work within your environment under your access controls, and we do not copy production data elsewhere. Where testing data is needed, we use masked or synthetic sets. Access is removed at the end of the engagement.
